Kalandra Education Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Sean Hennessy to its Board of Directors. Sean brings a wealth of financial expertise and strategic leadership experience gained from an extensive career in corporate finance across international and publicly traded organisations.
Sean currently serves as Vice President, Finance, at RJC Engineers, an employee-owned national engineering firm, where he leads the company’s Finance and Accounting functions across Canada. His experience spans multiple sectors, including renewable energy, clean technology, marine transportation, and engineering.
Prior to joining RJC, Sean held senior executive roles at EverGen Infrastructure, Loop Energy, and Teekay Corporation, where he was responsible for global financial strategy, financial reporting, investor relations, governance, and mergers and acquisitions. He has worked with companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), and TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV), and brings a pragmatic, results-oriented approach to corporate governance and financial leadership.

Sean began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in New Zealand, where he earned his Chartered Accountant designation. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (Accounting, Financial and Commercial Law) and a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) from Victoria University of Wellington. He is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ).
