Kiri Te Kanawa Retirement Village Supporting HCA Training

Kiri Te Kanawa Retirement Village in Gisborne is exemplifying best practice by having established a study group to support its HCA's who are enrolled at Kalandra.

With 12 staff embracing the opportunity to gain higher qualifications through our online programmes, the study group enables a shared experience and discussion with colleagues about the assignments and how the training can improve care for the residents.
Kiri Te Kanawa Retirement Village, owned by Ryman Healthcare, provides its residents with the best of care and a range of retirement living options in beautiful surroundings.

“We are constantly striving to provide the very best of care for our residents.  This includes ensuring that we have a well-educated team, balanced with skill, experience and compassion to provide the high standard of care that we expect.”  says Jenny Wood, Village Manager.
